When building my home I wanted it to be as energy efficient as possible. Upon learning about foam insulation, I felt it would be the best investment for my new home. Indeed, I made the right decision to have this foam based insulation installed by Superior Insulation. I set my thermostat to 78 degrees and the a/c unit rarely ever turns on. My utility bill for a full month’s usage was only $58 for a 3,600 square foot home. My neighbors were complaining about their utility bills being well over $200 for homes with less square footage than mine. This insulation is well on its way to paying for itself and I have already began seeing a financial benefit from have it in my home. Kudos to Superior Insulation and their professional service; you made installing this product seamless and speedy. I wholeheartedly recommend Superior Insulation for its professional service and outstanding product. Darryl Bivens Ubuildit Home Owner Helotes, Tx
Mr. Fetzer: As we discussed on the phone, I cannot make a comparison to our previous home, because the house we previously had was much smaller (1700 sq. ft.) than the one we have now (3400 sq. ft.). However, our house is quieter with the insulation blocking outdoor noises such as lawn mowers and weedwackers, Although we cannot break down our electric expenses (which include air conditioning, swimming pool pump and septic tank pump running 24 hours, appliances, and lights), we understand that the average electric bill this summer of $240 a month is still much better than other homes of comparable size that do not have the insulation. We have maintained the indoor temperature at 77 degrees with complete comfort. Initially, the builder's plan was to install two heating and air conditioning units on each end of the house. However, because we opted for the insulation installed by your company, the house only required a single unit. In addition, the Airtron representatives that have come to our house to conduct maintenance on the unit located in the attic, all comment about the difference in the coolness of our attic compared to homes with conventional insulation. My name is Pamela Stiefel and our house was constructed in 2006. My husband and I were amazed at the process of installing the insulation and it fascinates our visitors. We just have to show the insulation in our attic. Energy conservation was a big factor in planning our home design and we knew from the beginning we made the right choice in using this product. Our electric bills are approximately $200 to $250 per month which is amazing for a 3600 square foot home. I would gladly recommend this product and as a matter of fact, I already have!
Sept 2007 Donald, Becky and I wanted to write you and tell you how pleased we are with the spray foam insulation in our new home. Being in the building business for 30+years I have not seen any product that can save a home owner the money in energy cost that your insulation system can save them. While building our new home in 2006 Becky and I decided to use your insulation system. I decided to install a sub meter so we could tract our heating and cooling cost. From June of 2006 thru August 2007 the average cost of running our heating and cooling system was around $70.00 per month. Our new home is just over 3600sq ft. Our total energy bill for the new home has not been over $270.00. Compared to our previous 2400 sq. ft. home with energy bills in the summer months ranging from $400.00 to $450.00 we couldn’t be happier. I also wanted to tell you how pleased we were with the prep work that happened before the spray rig was brought to the site. Corners were caulked, bottom plates were sealed, top plates were sealed where plumbing pipes and electrical wires are stubbed through, window and door frames were sealed and the windows were covered so they were protected while the insulation was being sprayed. When the job was finished the house was left clean. If I were to build another home I would use Superior Insulation and your Sealection 500 product. Keep up the good work. Eddie and Becky Rathburn
9/25/07 Superior Insulation 330 Breesport San Antonio, TX 78216 Donald, It is with pleasure and a privilege to give this letter of recommendation. In the business of homebuilding it is rare to find a company coupled with their product that lives up to the standards I have set for my company. Our relationship of two years has netted many very satisfied clients who are enjoying the direct and indirect benefits of foam insulation. We get endless comments from our clients stating how happy they are that they chose foam insulation for their home; not only for the savings in their utility bill but, the added benefit they get from the sound buffer it creates. We look forward to many years of working with Superior Insulation to provide our clients with the very best options in home insulation. Sincerely, Michael F.
